Groovetails are an Essex based Function Band with a difference.
Groovetails are a one of a kind Function Band available to hire in the UK with fresh & unique song arrangements. Led by a very experienced bandleader and song arranger, they have pushed boundaries of what a Function Band can be.
The Band comprises of exceptional talent, fronted by an outstanding female vocalist, and backed by a incredible band who work within the industry as session musicians, tutors and even composers for television & film. They love to turn heads and fill dance floors.
The band set list is most likely one of the most versatile going. with songs spanning; Modern Pop & Dance, Disco, 80's & 90's music, and Classic tunes.

Meet The Band
Geoff cLark (BA Hons Music)
Geoff has worked as a full time professional musician for over 13 years. He is band leader, song arranger and guitarist.

He teaches guitar in Schools & Colleges, works as a session musician and composes for TV and Film.
Lauren Francis
Lauren, is the awesome lead vocalist. She is a hugely captivating & versatile singer who delivers every word exactly as she means it
Lauren is a fantastic songwriter, composer and Session vocalist for Television as well!
Joe Fletcher (BA Hons Music)
Joe has performed in many professional bands over the past 10 years, and played the bass guitar alongside many household name artists.
Joe likes to push himself very hard as a musician and he has studied in some the the very best institutions in the UK.
Matthew Kelly
Matt is an intricate powerhouse on the drums and his versatility is brilliant.
He always brings a level of sophistication to his infectiously funky beats and he's featured on 3 released albums and has many years of experience on the function circuit
Dan Oakley (BA Hons Music)
Dan is a fantastic player and prolific Saxomophone tutor and performer. He's been on the circuit for over 10 years and he works as a unit with the Trumpet player
Tim Curd (BA Hons Music)
Tim's Trumpet solos are legendary to those who have heard him. Just like his compadre, Dan, he has worked extensively as a prolific Trumpet tutor and performer.
NINA MORRIS (BA Hons Music)
Nina is a fantastic Sax player and tutor. She has many years professional gigging experience and often stands in for Dan when he's unavailable.
